THE COACHES
Dani Davis
Dani was mentored in life and boxing in his early teenage years, by one of the best men in the business, the legendary Mick Carney at Fitzroy Lodge ABC in Lambeth. He competed for Fitzroy Lodge ABC for around 10 years and was rated in the top 10 in Great Britain over the years; before turning professional. As a professional, Dani remained unbeaten.
Dani says, "In life, like so many others I have always been my own worst enemy. As you become older you realise the gems of knowledge you were given, only to have been wasted on deaf ears. A young man thinks he knows everything, until life teaches you different.
Call it fate or destiny, the way Andy, myself and Del all became acquainted had to be more than chance. I knew from the first time we met, this was the place and people to share my time and aspirations with. I have been an active trainer, with London Military ABC for almost 2 years and the club is going from strength to strength. Corner2Corner was formed in 2020. The scope as a collective is immense, as we have a huge combined number of years experience. This also comes with a tremendous network of contacts throughout the sport of Boxing. I am excited for the future and what Corner2Corner will no doubt achieve in this sport."
